A Dino-Mite Summer Adventure
Member Rick Buie writes…This past July, we visited dinosaur-rich Alberta, Canada, on a long camping trip that also included stops in Banff National Park and Glacier National Park.
While in Alberta, we did as many paleo activities as possible, including visiting the world-famous Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller and camping at Dinosaur Provincial Park, where we hiked the badlands, visited the field station, and attended a great presentation from a resident archeologist about the differences between archaeology and paleontology.
Our family had a wonderful time, and our paleo-obsessed son, Jase, came away with memories he’ll never forget. We highly recommend visiting this beautiful part of the world and enjoying all the dino adventures it has to offer.
